MOBILE SLAUGHTER UNITS

GAIN CONTROL OF YOUR PROCESSING WITH A Mobile Meat Harvest Unit

Designed and built in the USA, Friesla’s USDA-compliant Mobile Meat Harvest Units are fully equipped for USDA-inspected, multi-species meat harvesting—whether large animals like beef or smaller ruminants like goats and sheep. Previously known as Mobile Slaughter Units or MSUs, these units are used on farms and ranches across the USA, Canada, Africa, and South America.

As a flexible, cost-effective alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar slaughter facilities, Friesla Mobile Meat Harvest Units provide a scalable option for starting a new harvest/slaughter operation or adding harvest/slaughter capacity to an existing meat processing plant (e.g., a retail butcher shop).

Built on a heavy-duty steel frame and with rugged aluminum body construction, Friesla Mobile Meat Harvest Units—available in 38’, 45’, or 53’ trailers—are divided into three sections:

  • Harvest & Processing Room: Enables multi-species harvesting: restraining, knocking, bleeding, hide removal, evisceration, splitting, and weighing. 45’ and 53’ Units include equipment and space for cutting and packaging.

  • Carcass Drawdown Cooler: For quick carcass drawdown to USDA-required temperatures. Holds up to 16,000 lb of full-length halves on 10’ high interior rails.

  • Mechanical Room: Houses the refrigeration system, onboard diesel generator, water tank, on-demand water heater, and more.

At Friesla, we provide meat producers, processors, and entrepreneurs with tools to take back control of local meat processing—on your terms, time, and site. Together, let’s get started.
